Collection: Himalayan Incense
Long before incense became a lifestyle product, it was a ritual. In Nepal and across the Himalayan tradition, incense has been burned for centuries during puja, meditation, and ceremony — to purify a space, focus the mind, and mark the beginning of something intentional.
Every incense variety in this collection is hand-rolled in the Kathmandu Valley using natural herbs, resins, and botanicals. There are no synthetic fragrance oils, no chemical binders, no shortcuts. Just plant material, carefully combined and slow-rolled onto a bamboo core by artisans who have been making incense this way for generations.
We offer seven distinct scents — each with its own character, its own tradition, and its own place in a mindful practice. Frankincense for deep, resinous warmth. Sandalwood for soft, creamy calm. Myrrh for ancient, smoky depth. Citronella for bright, clearing freshness. Dorjee and Nasaw for traditional Nepali blends rooted in Buddhist ritual. And Austa Suganda — our signature eight-herb blend — for those who want the full experience of a Kathmandu monastery in a single stick.
All products are packaged in handmade Nepali lokta paper — beautiful, tactile, and plastic-free. They make a thoughtful gift on their own, and pair naturally with any Aparmita singing bowl.
