Singing Bowl Mallet – Handmade Wooden Striker for Tibetan Bowls | Nepal

The mallet is half the instrument. A singing bowl only sounds as good as the striker that plays it — and a poorly weighted mallet is the most common reason a good bowl sounds thin. This handmade wooden mallet is shaped and balanced in Kathmandu for the two techniques every bowl player uses: striking the rim for a clear opening tone, and circling the rim to make the bowl sing. The wood is turned to
