Padded Singing Bowl Mallet

A padded mallet for playing singing bowls — a felt or leather-wrapped head on a wooden handle, made to draw out a warm, sustained tone when circled around the rim, or a soft, rounded note when the bowl is struck. The padded head suits larger and mid-sized bowls where a bare wooden striker would sound too hard. Handmade in Nepal.
