Dark Rustic Singing Bowl

There are bowls made to look beautiful. And then there are bowls made to be felt. The Aparmita Special Dark Rustic is one of our most personal creations — a bowl we make in small batches, by hand, using a traditional multi-metal alloy and a finishing process that draws out the earth tones already present in the metal. No paint. No coating. The dark, uneven surface you see is the result of heat, hammer, and time. At 19–20cm across and over a kilogram in weight, this bowl sits with presence. Strike it and you'll notice the sustain — long, low, and grounding. Hold it in your palm during a session and the vibration settles into you rather than bouncing off. Every piece is slightly different. The weight, the tone, the depth of the patina — all vary bowl to bowl. That's not inconsistency. That's what handmade actually means. Made in Kathmandu. Since 2011.
